Medieval

The Sims Medieval is a stand-alone game in The Sims series. The Sims Medieval was released March 22, 2011. The game runs on The Sims 3 engine and is a spin-off similar to the way in which The Sims Stories games were a spin-off of The Sims 2. However, there are notable differences; The Sims Medieval is not simply The Sims 3 translated to a medieval setting.

Main storyline

The storyline of the game is to build a successful kingdom, by fulfilling your 'Kingdom Ambition', which you choose at the start of the game. You play as a knight, monarch, scribe, priest, aristocrat, physician, and many more as your job awaits. When you accept a quest (which are required to fulfil your kingdom ambition) you will choose which hero Sim you want to use. When your hero Sims do the quests they will level up, imbuing this game with an RPG-style feel.

Your Sims have these various jobs, and each job has it's own duties that you have to fulfil daily. Otherwise you will be fired from your job, though if your Sims is fired, your Sim cannot only be fired but also humiliated by other Sims throwing tomatoes or eggs at them, other then that your Sim will have to pay a fine, or even enter in the "Pit of Judgement" for execution.
